What do you mean that your 2023 return doesn't show up on the IRS website? Are you logged into your IRS account?

Are you needing to amend a return?

    IRS Individual Online Account

    • Taxpayers with a Social Security number or an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number can create or access their IRS Individual Online Account to get information they need to file their return.
    • With an IRS Individual Online Account, people can:
    • View balance owed, payment history and schedule payments.
    • Cancel scheduled payments.
    • Get transcripts.
    • View or create payment plans.
    • See digital copies of some IRS notices.
    • View key data from their most recently filed tax return, including adjusted gross income.
    • Validate bank accounts and save multiple accounts, eliminating the need to re-enter bank account information every time they make a payment.
    • View, approve and electronically sign power of attorney and tax information authorizations from their tax professional.

So on the IRS site, I've got a non-filing verification, but I did 2023 through turbotax april ~24 of last year.

Trying to do this year and i get kickback for my AGI being different from 2023, but it matches what was submitted via turbotax.

I logged into the actual IRS.GOV website. Once I was in there they had a pending status on my taxes from last year. Checked again right now and it's actually still pending. Going with 0$ is definitely the route, still not sure if it'll need adjustment once the IRS actually "recieves" last years stuff for me.

I had this same exact problem. Super weird. IRS.gov says that they received my 2023 return, but that it is still being processed so I have that notice that you mentioned about no file on record. My 2024 return was rejected twice because I was inputting the AGI TurboTax had on file for my 2023 return. I got on chat with their helpdesk and ultimately was instructed to input 0 for my AGI. Felt weird but I did it anyway. The 2024 return was finally accepted afterwards; however, I still wanted to contact the IRS about my 2023 return status. I could never get through to their customer service line after multiple attempts and am worried about my information not being accurate. Not really sure what to do now.
