Date of signature in Part 2 of form 8453pe is dated 03/29/2018. How do i change it?

The date is listed incorrectly next to the signature in Part 2 of form 8453-PE and we cannot determine where to go to change it. Please provide instruction on how the change can be made to reflect the signature date to be the current date.

For Turbotax business 2024 - this doesn't work. It is 2/23/2025 today and I previously put in a guestimate of 03/09/2025. I did the above and went to Information Wks and changed it there to 2/23/2025 then went to step-by-step to 8453-PE. I deleted the form, and Turbo tax recreated a new one with 03/09/2025. I guess I'll have to remind myself to submit it exactly on 03/09/2025 --- BUT THERE SHOULD BE A WAY TO FIX THIS!!!

I'm having the same issue with Turbotax Business......I attempted to switch to the "Forms" view, but it won't let me change the date. Any suggestions???

Form 8453 is not Efiled with your return. It's for your information only. It gives permission for Electronic Filing.

This is not working for 2021 Business return - input change is not allowed in Forms/Information Wks/Form 8453-PE.

Somewhere the date was entered while inputting data, upon request. But since the date is sooner I need the date changed on the 8453 form in order to sign and attach.

As I understand it the only way to change this is in OVERRIDE option in the pdf print screen and that causes the TurboTax GUARANTEE to be VOIDED.

I wish I could remember when I originally entered the date (which I always put deadline date ) while inputting data.
