How to access form 1040-x when the Amend option does not include the current year.

Amend option under Other Tax Situations only includes Amend Prior Year.

It is for the current year tax return if you indicate it will be for the current year.

You are asked if you have filed or not filed yet. You should selected filed.

You are then asked if you need to amend the 2024 tax return. You should select this option and continue.

The following screen asks you what you want to change on your tax return.

Should you select 2023 or previous tax year to amend, the following screen tells you to use the version of TurboTax for the year you need to amend.
