i received a form 5498 from my bank after i filed last year. how can i make these corrections?

    You don't have to file Form 5498 with your tax return. 

    • However, it can help you keep track of contributions you've made to a traditional IRA, Roth IRA, SEP IRA, or SIMPLE IRA.
    • Form 5498 is typically issued to anyone who has contributed to an IRA, but you generally won't have to do anything with it once you receive it
