Question

My husband passed away on February 2025, I still need to file 2024 tax return. Do I need to anything special for 2024 return or just normal tax return?

You file the tax return like you normally would, accept for in the Personal Info section you need to indicate he died before the return was filed and enter the date of death on the screen that says Do Any of These Apply to (name of taxpayer):
