Question

My state taxes are showing that they’ve been deposited by the irs website but they’re not showing pending nor have they been deposited into my account can you help?

I filled them on 2/22/25& I read that eitc or child tax if filled that was it would have them by 2/3/25 but irs showed 3/6/25 for state but it’s not there, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities. There is no rule as to which one will come in first or how long it will be between their arrival in your account.

The IRS processes your federal tax return and issues your federal refund.

The IRS does not process your state return or issue your state refund.

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2024 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
