2023 TurboTax Business can not handle Accrued Market discount
Hi,
I'm trying to enter market discount for form 8949 in 1041 trust filing. According to Turbo tax business, i should be able to enter a negative number, so the loss will reduced from the gain.
The third photo shows that turbotax rejects my input due to negative number. The second photo shows what turboTax business says that a negative number is allowed. the third photo shows what i intended to do. .
my problem is similar to the following problem as identified by another user. TurboTax premier can handle market discount fine, but TurboxTax business can't.
somehow, this problem needs to be fixed one way or another.
please provide a rightful way to adjust the gain by subtracting Market Discount.
