Question

For MacBook air. The space for entering the required address where my heat pump hot water heater was installed is greyed out. Is there a way to enter the address? Thanks

I've entered the cost of the heater, but Turbo Tax calculates the credit as $0. I think that is because I can't enter the address for where the heater was installed.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I was able to input the cost. Then I got to the greyed out screen for the address and got stuck. I figured I'd have to do some work around and I just left that section--I didn't get stuck-- and went ahead and entered the rest of my data. Somewhere in the process--review maybe--turbotax asked me for the address and I was able to enter it.

Ah, okay I see what you mean now.

It sounds like I ended up doing basically the same thing you did. I could not type into the gray box and the Continue button did not respond to a click. So I saved the file and exited TurboTax. When I returned, TurboTax was no longer displaying the page with the gray box.

I continued with other sections and then as another member mentioned, TurboTax later prompted me for the address during the review process.
