Question

I am filing religious non-clergy. Turbo Tax is asking me to give a business name, address, & business code for Form 3514. Do I need to file this & what are the answers?

I work as a teacher for a church run school & have never been asked these questions in the past.

When you work as an independent contractor then you are seen as having a business. In this case your business name is just your name, your business address is your address and your business code is 611000 (for educational services. Form 3514 is for the California Earned Income Credit and if you qualify for it then you definitely want it.
