Question

I have TurboTax Home and Business. I need to file a Trust Return (form 1041) but do not have this form in my TurboTax. How do I get this?

The IRS Form 1041 for Estates and Trusts is only available in the TurboTax Business edition, which is a separate program - https://turbotax.intuit.com/small-business-taxes/cd-download/

I work on a Mac, so this is not helpful. Why does TurboTax not offer this on a Mac platform?

It's been this way for years and, for years, many users have been complaining about the lack of support.

The fact of the matter is that there is insufficient demand to warrant developing a Mac version.

TurboTax Business and note that (a) the program only runs in a Windows environment and (b) the program only can be used to prepare business income tax returns (such as Form 1041for a trust).
