I Worked part time for a business. They didn't withhold my taxes. When i try to file, the site assumes I'm the owner of the business, but I'm not. what can I do?

The business is a smaller scale photography business for which I worked Part time.

If they reported the payment on 1099-NEC, they are paying you as if you are a self-employed contractor.

This means you would have to file Schedule C and pay Self-employment (FICA) tax as well as income tax.
