WA independent consultant working remotely for clients in CA. State business tax?

My consulting business LLC is registered in WA.  I work within WA remotely for clients in CA.  Will I pay business & occupation tax in WA and/or CA?

Since Washington has no state income tax, you will need to file only a California State Income tax return. Depending on your LLC structure and registration, you may need to file an Annual Report for Washington.

 

However, California taxes nonresidents on all income sourced in California. This includes services rendered from out of state.
