I don't think I have any Other Taxes, but a number appears in that field.  Where does it come from?

Estimates and other taxes paid include:

  1. Estimated taxes paid: If you made estimated tax payments to cover the tax on income that's not subject to withholding
  2. Income taxes paid: Taxes you paid with your 2023 federal, state or local extension:

            - Taxes you paid with your 2022 state or local extension.

            - 2022 federal, state and local tax refunds that you applied to your federal, state or local 2023 taxes owed.

            - State and local taxes that were withheld during 2023 but not reported on Form W-2, 1099, W-2G, etc.

            - Taxes paid with your 2022 state and local returns, including with an extension, amended return, or through an installment plan.

           - State and local taxes you paid with your 2022 or prior year return.

          - Other state withholdings during 2023. . For example, you had money withheld during escrow on a real estate sale and received a Form 593, Real Estate Withholding Statement.

       3. Sales tax paid

       4.Foreign taxes paid

5.Credit for AMT (alternative minimum tax) paid in prior year
