Can I deduct realtor commission and transfer taxes from the sale of a second home?

    Yes.  These would still be considered the sales expenses and would be deductible expenses even if it is on your second home. 

     

    On the page after you enter the sale, you will be given the chance to select I paid sales expenses that aren't included in the sale proceeds reported on the form.
