Question

Do I include the state property tax relief credit I received in my state refund last year when I am entering my state refund amount from last year?

That property tax relief credit was not included in the amount TurboTax brought forward from the taxes I filed last year, so I don't know whether to edit the amount or not.

    Please clarify - what state are you in?

     

    As a rule of thumb, though, if it was included as part of your refund and you itemized your deductions last year then you would include it as income.
