Question

I took the standard deduction for Federal, but filled Schedule A for itemizing the California return. How do I find out if it itemized my deductions?

How do I know if Turbotax actually itemized my California return while using the standard deduction for Federal.

    You can look at your state tax summary to see what is appearing as deductions.  

     

    While working on your state tax return in TurboTax, do the following:

     

    1. Choose Tax Tools from your left menu bar in TurboTax Online
    2. Choose Tools
    3. Choose View Tax Summary
    **Say "Thanks" by clicking the thumb icon in a post**Mark the post that answers your question by clicking on "Mark as Best Answer"
