Question

If I inadvertently marked vehicle sold, how do I change it to not sold? I'm self employed and was entering the information in the "vehicle section" of wages & income.

I've unchecked the box for vehicle sold, but in the review section it claims errors and wants a date sold. Also in the review section it says other boxes are not checked like " vehicle for personal use" and "available for use during off duty hours" and others that I have already checked the box.

    In TurboTax Online, click the pencil to the right of the Vehicle that was marked as sold.

     

    Remove the date of sale and uncheck I stopped using this vehicle.

     

    However, you should cycle through the vehicle questions to make sure that all references to the vehicle sale have been removed.

     

    At the screen Sales price, remove the Sales price and Expense of Sale amounts.

     

    I immediately Review to make sure that all traces of the vehicle sale have been removed from the software.
