Legal blindness tax exemption?

    Yes, the standard deduction will increase by $1,950.  To claim, check the box in "My Info."

     

    • Navigate to My Info > Expand the box with your name > Choose "Revisit"
    • Continue until you get to the screen "Let's check for some other situations"
    • Check the box "I was considered legally blind as of December 31, 2024"
