My previous boss had me using my vehicle for anything and everything to do for his business. We did door to door sales and he had me toting around all sales people in MY car. We even went to 7 or 8 other states in MY car (all sales people in my car with me).  But he gives me W2's instead of a 1099, so now I cannot deduct mileage etc.  Can I do anything at all to make this employer correct my W2 to a 1099? I swear I saw I could file a complaint with the IRS on this type of thing.  ??

No, the business use of your vehicle is not deductible in 2024 if you are a salary employee. You cannot compel your employer to issue you a form 1099-NEC if you are actually an employee.
