Are you referring to filing using the Standard Deduction or Itemized deduction?  There's a sales tax deduction taxpayers are able to take if they itemize deductions.

Here are some resources regarding deductions: Review the TurboTax article Standard Deduction vs. Itemized Deductions: Which Is Better? to find out if you may be able to claim itemized deductions.

Sales tax is deducted on Schedule A when you itemize your deductions.  You have the option of deducting sales tax or State and Local Taxes (SALT).  The most that you can deduct is $10,000 ($5,000 if you are filing as Married Filing Separately).

Refer to TurboTax Help article Which deduction should I choose, state and local income tax or sales tax?

For instructions to enter your sales tax, review the TurboTax Help article Where do I enter my sales taxes paid?
