Turbo tax is asking if my old home's 1098 is the most recent. It is for that home, but not overall because I got a 1098 for my new home as well. Do I answer yes or no to "Is this 1098 the most recent for your loan when answering for my old home?

It depends.  If you do not have a second 1098 for the same loan (home that was sold only), then answer 'Yes' it is the most recent.

When buying and selling a home in the same year, you enter both 1098 forms.  But you should enter zero in Box 2 for the Outstanding Mortgage Principal of the home loan that is no longer in existence (sold) by the end of the year.
