Question

The solar tax credit page won't allow me to enter a property address in Puerto Rico.

The "state" dropdown list does not include Puerto Rico so I can't complete the required information for residential clean energy improvements. How do you record a property address in Puerto Rico?

    Offhand, I don't think it qualifies.

     

    The solar credit is for residences in the "United States".  For tax laws, Puerto Rico is generally not considered as part of the United States, but is a territory or possession of the United State.
