Why can't i delete the dependant care provider from my state tax Form 3506 in Turbo tax - ive gtried everything

 TurboTax transfers data from your federal return to your state return.

 Do you have an amount in box 10 of your W-2( the total amount of dependent care benefits that your employer paid to you or incurred on your behalf)? Did you claim a dependent care credit on your Federal return? 

If that does not apply to you, revisit the Child and Dependent care credit on your federal return:

1. Open your return.
2. Go to Federal 
3. Go to Deductions and Credits 
4. Scroll down to You and Your Family
5. Click Update/Edit next to Child and Dependent care credit
6. Answer no to the question Did you pay for child and dependent care in 2024?

Next, delete form 2441Child and Dependent Care Expenses then CA form 3506

1. Click on Tax Tools on the left hand side.
2. Click on Tools.
3. Click on Delete a form.
4. Scroll down and delete Form 2441, if there is one.
5. Scroll down to your CA Form 3506 and delete it. 

For TurboTax Desktop:

1. Open or continue your return.
2. Switch to Forms Mode by selecting the Forms icon.
3. From the menu, select the form you want to remove.
4. After the form is generated in the right pane, select the Delete Form button.
