Question

Why does the system think that I have foreign accounts when I indicated that I live in the US and don't have foreign accounts.

Did you enter any 1099 forms that would indicate you have foreign accounts?    You can check your answer to that question in TurboTax by returning to the income section.   When you are on the Personal Income or Wages & Income (depending on which version you are using) page, scroll down and click on Continue or Done with Personal Income.   The next questions will be about foreign accounts, disaster distributions, and then, digital assets.
