Forms Not Ready

I am still receiving the error warning about forms not ready - it is also listing the T1198 Form as not supported - but certification in process. Does that mean that it will eventually work? Or should I look at a different system or paper filing as this form wont be an option this tax season?

Any timelines?

UPDATE: All forms for 2024 are unlocked.

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, please update your software (Help>Update).

If you are using TurboTax Online, you may need to clear your cache and cookies to see the changes, or you can try using another browser.

The Statement of qualifying retroactive lump-sum payment (T1198) is now available and unlocked in TurboTax Online.

It is available in TurboTax Desktop in Forms mode, but it's still locked. You can see a list of forms that are still in development here: https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/turbotax-support/en-ca/help-article/tax-return/turbotax-say-forms-locked-finalized/L9h4thZZJ_CA_en_CA

I can open the 2024 T1198 in my 2024 Turbotax. When filling out "Year of payment", the latest i can enter us 2023. Lump sum payment was received in 2024. Will this form be amended?

Hi

TurboTax Home & Business 2024, desktop software.

Same issue as of today 17 Mar 2025.

In forms not able to enter 2024 as year of payment in form T1198.

Please note this morning I check for update and downloaded update and one of the references in update was the T1198 and after update no change - still year 2024 cannot be entered in T1198.

I wonder whoever is responsible in Intuit TurboTax if possible, please escalate this.
