    No, TennCare is not marketplace insurance. 

     

    TennCare is Tennessee's Medicaid program, which provides health insurance to low-income individuals and families. The Health Insurance Marketplace, on the other hand, is a federal platform where individuals can shop for and compare private health insurance plans that meet the Affordable Care Act (ACA) standards. 

     

    If you had health insurance through the marketplace, you would have received a Form 1095-A.
