How do I file an extension using TurboTax Home and Business?

I can't find the Federal Taxes tab that it says to click on.  Consequently, I can't click on the the Other Tax Situations subtab nor scroll down to Other Tax Forms, nor select File An Extension!

Since you are using TurboTax Home & Business click the Personal tab and then the Other Tax Situations sub-tab. Scroll down to Other Tax Forms and select File An Extension.

    Thank you so much for posting the instructions on filing an extension in turbo tax. I called Turbo Tax and was on the phone for an HOUR and they had me chasing my tail with no extention. Thanks again.

    To file an extension using TurboTax Home and Business:

    • Select FEDERAL TAXES on the top bar menu
    • Then choose Other Tax Situations
    • Scroll down to Other Tax Forms
    • Click the Start button after File an extension and follow the prompts

    I do not see FEDERAL TAXES selection on the menu bar:

     

    Personal info, business, personal, state taxes, review, and file.
