Download links are good for three years.   You will need your license key and a full PC or Mac for the download software.  And....your 2023 return cannot be e-filed.   It will have to be filed by mail.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.

Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses.  Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.

If you did not file a timely 2023 return you will have trouble e-filing 2024.  When it asks for your 2023 AGI try using zero.  If zero does not work then you have to print, sign and mail 2024.

    Hi there,

Thanks for the reply! I checked the content in the download link, in particular: InstallTurboTax.com, it does not have the 2023 TurboTax for downloading there. I have purchased the whole package including the license key and everything. But the link they provided on the package does not have the software anymore

Yes how did this work out? I have the same problem!!

An update from me as I just got off of a call with Intuit.

I purchase my 2023 copy from Best Buy and the link was no longer available.  I called BB customer service and somehow I ended up with Geek Squad remoting into my computer (unfortunate hour of waste).

If you purchased TT directly, you shouldn't have any issues with the link CatinaT1 put in her reply; however, 3rd party retailer...

Be willing and ready to sit on the phone with Inuit customer service (give yourself a solid 2 hours - for a couple of reasons) because the agent can only do so much.  I don't think they've fully vetted the fact that lot's of people purchase at big box stores....

If you have your license code or proof of purchase and are kind but persistent, they will find a way for you.

    Best of luck!
