Question

I was employed for the first 2 months of the year and then became self employed. Do I file 2 different returns?

You don't need to file 2 different returns because you can do it together. You can click on income on the left panel of the TurboTax home screen. You can enter your employment income in T4 Slips and then enter details of your Self-employment in the Self-Employment tab. Select your appropriate business and fill in the details.
