Is there a way to access my turbo tax files from last tax year - not the pdf of the actual tax return forms.

If you use TurboTax online, please follow the instructions in the following TurboTax FAQ link, How do I view a previous year's tax return?

If you use TurboTax CD/Download and you saved your return file on your computer, you can simply go to the Start button on the bottom left of your screen and click on Start and you will see a small search bar - type in .tt18 and you will find it there. This FAQ has information that may help you find your files if you use the TurboTax CD/Download version.
