Where do I enter self-employed income? Right now, it is appearing in other employment income.

You can enter your Self-Employment income & expenses in the Self-Employment (T2125) part of the TurboTax EasyStep interview. To get there in TurboTax Online:

1. From the menu, select Find (the magnifying glass icon) 
2. Enter self-employment in the search bar
3. Select Self-Employment from the list, then click Go
4. Select Yes, then Continue

From there you will be asked questions about your business, income & expenses.

To remove the income you currently have in “Other Income”:

1. From the menu, select Find (the magnifying glass icon)
2. Enter other income sources in the search bar
3. Select Other Income Sources from the list, then click Go
4. Delete any amounts you have there, then click Continue to save
