How do I fix e-file reject IND-031-04

Hi,

 

I am filing for my daughter separately, I claimed her as dependent in my income. I don't know what to do. Can you help me.

    Okay! it is the first time filing for my daughter. how can I find AGI? since according to the website, I need to enter 0. let me know.

    The AGI for your daughter will be zero because she has not filed before.  If you still get a reject you should change her return to paper and mail instead of e-file.

    AGI reject tip:

    • If you're a first-time filer over the age of 16, enter "0" as your AGI.
