Where to enter Last Year's AGI on Turbo Tax rejected amended return?

Hi -

Related to PIN number issues, I have had my amended return rejected. I corrected those, but it was rejected again, because the "last year's AGI" number somehow went from the correct amount to zero. I would like to try again. But when I go through the file windows, , there is no longer an option to change the last year's AGI number... it simply appears as zero with no option to change.

How can I amend the last year's AGI in Turbo Tax. Again, I know what the number is, I just can't find a place to put it.

You don't use the AGI from your 2020 amended return, you need the AGI from your original 2020 return.

To revisit the 2020 AGI section in TurboTax Online:

Sign in and open your return, if you haven't already done so.
From the left menu, select File (tap in the upper-left corner to expand the menu on mobile devices).
Select Start next to Step 3 (if needed, revisit Steps 1 and/or 2 to activate Step 3).
Select I want to e-file.
Continue until you see the place to enter your 2020 AGI.

How do I correct my 2020 AGI in the TurboTax CD/Download software?

To correct your 2020 AGI in TurboTax, open your return and then:

Select the File tab and continue until you reach the screen that says To continue, select options below
Enter your corrected AGI in Enter last year's AGI here.
Select Continue and follow the screens until you've re-transmitted your return.

Thanks. Following those instructions (desktop) simply does not result in the option to change last year's AGI.

I am sorry you are having this trouble, I am not sure why you cannot correct the AGI. I don't work for TurboTax but if you cannot get your return e-filed you might want to contact TurboTax support for help.

Thanks. I'm actually on hold with them right now, my fourth attempt to get this resolved. I find this forum is actually faster and more knowledgeable... so thanks for being there anyway... We'll get it fixed.
