NYC 1127 form generated by mistake

I was filing my 2023 NY State tax return and at the end it produced a form NYC-1127 and showed that I owed money. This form was produced by mistake, I was never an employee for the City of New York. This NYC-1127 form was included in my 2023 tax return PDF. Did turbotax e-file this NYC1127 form on my behalf? Can I leave my NY state tax return as is, or must it be amended to remove this form NYC-1127? I have not mailed anything to the Dept. of Finance in NYC.

You do not have to amend your New York State tax return. Form NYC-1127 is not part of your New York State tax return. It's a separate return that has to be filed separately. It cannot be e-filed with TurboTax. TurboTax did not file it. You don't have to do anything. Just ignore the NYC-1127. It didn't go anywhere.
