Remote work state tax

Hi,

I currently live in Maryland but the company I work for is in arizona. I work fully remote. When I file my taxes Maryland covers any arizona state income tax so that I am not paying state income tax for both states.

If I move to Colorado and continue to work for the AZ company fully remote, will my current tax situation be the same?

Thank You,

-Nicole

If you never work or live in Arizona then you only report your income on your resident state tax return.  So if you move your residence to Colorado, your income is reported on a Colorado state tax return.
