I mean, I was able to file with TurboTax (Mac download), the return got accepted - but the CA System interpreted my contribution as overpayment, and refunded the money to me! I recently received a check in the mail (with no explanation, I just chatted with an FTB agent who explained the check)
(They also refunded me my $11 "self-assessed" penalty! 🙂 )
